In this section, we answer some of your most commonly asked questions, but if you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, or have concerns about our food preparation, ingredients, allergies or more, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

How do I place an order online?

If you have an account with us, you can sign in to My Account at any time for faster checkout and to review your order history.

  1. Go to the Menu page.
  2. Select All Products, or just the category of food you want.
  3. Select an item by clicking on its picture, (or quick-shop by clicking Add to Cart):
    • Choose the quantity. (For a bulk discount, purchase 4+ of the same item.)
    • Customize fresh meals by selecting items from the choices given, or typing a note in the Special Request box.
    • Click Add to Cart
  4. When you’re finished shopping, review the order in your cart, make any changes, and Proceed to Checkout.
  5. Enter your billing and delivery information, if you do not have an existing account.
  6. Select a delivery day.
  7. Pay by Visa, Mastercard, Veteran Affairs Allowance, or gift card and wait for your delicious Batch Food order to arrive on your doorstep! We’ll send you an email to confirm your order. If you are a Veteran, and it is your first time buying with us, we ask that you please give us a call so that we may make sure we have you all set up properly to bill Veteran Affairs on your behalf.
How do I select between delivery and pick up?

You can do this at two points in your ordering process. 

The first is when you click into your cart, go to the section at the bottom of your order called “Cart Totals”. The second option down should be section called “Shipping” here you can select either “Local Pick Up” or “Delivery” by clicking the little circle to the left of your desired option. Now click “Proceed to Check Out”. If you haven’t logged in, or if this is your first time ordering, this option may not be available to you yet, because you have not provided your address, and our delivery system is based on where you live! Not to worry, option two is available to you after you click “Proceed to Check Out”.

The second option is if you have already clicked “Proceed to Check Out”. If you have already logged in, scroll down to the bottom to the section called “Your Order”, there is a section in there called “Shipping” which you can follow the same instructions from option one. If you are not logged in, or this is your first time ordering, you can now enter your address information, and then scroll down to the “Your Order” section to select your desired shipping method.

Do I need an account to order?
No, you do not. Some of our customers create an account for faster checkout.
How do I create an account?
During the checkout process, after you enter your billing information, check “Create an Account” and you will be prompted to create a password that you can use each time you order for faster checkout, and to review your order history.
How can I customize my meal?
You can customize any of our fresh meals by selecting items from the choices given, or typing a note in the Special Request box on the page. If you want to re-order an item you’ve customized in the past, select that item from one of your previous orders in My Account.
How can I cook your meals?

Click here to view or print off a copy of our general heating instructions. We do our best to be as clear as possible with the instructions we put on each of our items, but we understand that everyone has different skill levels, and different cooking equipment, that they are working with. Give us a call or shoot us an email with any questions you have and we’d be happy to help!

How long do your meals last?

All of our items have best before dates on them to make it easy for you! But in general, our frozen items are good for 3 months, and our fresh items are good for about 4 days. We recommend defrosting your frozen meals before cooking them, and consuming any fresh items within the first few days, as their best before can be affected by your fridge and the ripeness of the fruit and veggies. We make them fresh for your orders, so why wait?

How can I pay for my order?

Online we accept Visa, Mastercard, Veteran Affairs Allowance, and Batch Food gift cards.

For Phone orders we can also accept Debit E-Transfers to info@batchfood.com.

In store we accept all major methods of payment, including Cash, Cheques, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Veteran Affairs Allowance, and Google Pay.

How can I give Batch as a gift?

You can send a Batch Food order, or a Batch Food gift card, to a delivery address that is different from your billing address (just add a cooler to your order to keep their delivery chilled). Batch Food packages make an ideal gift starting at just $60, and frozen packages can be shipped overnight across the province of BC.

How do I buy a gift card?

You’ll find Batch Food gift cards for sale in under “Menu” in the “Gift Card” section.

How do I redeem a gift card?

To pay for your order with a gift card, enter your gift card code into the Coupon Code box at the Checkout.

If you have an old Fresh Gourmet TakeAway Gift Card, please email us or call us with the number on the back, to have it verified and turned into an online Batch Food Gift Card. 

If you have an old Batch Food Gift Card that will not work online, please email us or call us with the number on the back, to have it verified and turned into an online Gift Card. 

If you have any other difficulties redeeming your card, please give us a call or send us an email with your gift card number and we will resolve the issue.

How do I get a coupon code?

Sign up for our newsletter! We periodically send out coupon codes for weekends and holidays.

Use the code “trybatch” to receive 10% on your first (or one of) your orders. This code can only be used once per customer.

How do I redeem a coupon code or gift card?

To redeem a coupon or gift card, enter your coupon code or gift card number into the Coupon Code box at Checkout.

Can I visit your Langley location to purchase food?

Yes; we have a store front with an awesome selection of what we sell online! Come visit us Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm.

.You can also place orders to pick up from us! Just choose “Local Pick Up” as your shipping option at the checkout and you can come pick up your order from us at our Langley location for free! Pick ups are between 2pm and 5pm from Tuesday to Friday, and 2pm to 4pm on Saturdays, and require a minimum 48 hour notice to be filled. Then just come swing by and we will bring out your order!
